Halls

Last weekend I went down to Arizona to "help" Elizabeth. Andy was going to go out of town to pick something for Thanksgiving and Elizabeth didn't want to be alone. So she flew me down. It was a nice little get away. Above is one of the pictures of Lincoln that Lydia took on my phone. He is so little and cute.

On Saturday morning while I was still kind of asleep, I hear voices out side my door. Drew was asking Lydia what she was doing. Her response "I am waiting for Aunt Becky to come out." Drew "She isn't going to come out for a long time. She won't wake up until after the sun comes up, and that isn't for a long time." It was so funny. I looked at the clock and it was 6:45. Crazy cute kids. I hope my kids don't wake up so early.

I'm having a ...

Girl. A little girl. My baby is measuring about 6 days small, but they are keeping my due date the same. It was so cool to get the ultrasound. To actually be able to see that is a real baby inside of me. While the ultrasound technician was trying to get a picture of her head, my girl wouldn't stay still long enough to get a picture. And Christophe made the comment that she is as stubborn as I am. Really? Me stubborn? It doesn't run in the family or anything. . .
Here are a couple more pictures that were taken. She had her hand above her head and they got a picture of her hand, but it didn't really work taking a picture of that picture. So I didn't add that one.
This is another one of my favorites. It is of her feet, and they are crossed at the ankle.

Lampy the second

Meet Lampy the second. Roxy got spayed a few weeks ago and either she wouldn't leave the incision alone or it just wasn't healing right. So the doctor gave her this lamp shade so she would leave the cut alone. When Christophe told me that they gave her the lamp shade I started laughing. It reminded me when we had our dog Max when I was younger. He wouldn't leave a cut on his leg alone, so he got a lamp shade for quite a while. Tricia gave him the nick name Lampy. I think it fits.

Catching up

Wow I have a lot to catch up on. First from our trip to Duck Creek. It was a nice relaxing vacations. Christophe and I just mostly stayed at the cabin and played games. But on Saturday we went with Doug and his family and Elizabeth and her family to Cedar City and went bowling and then out for ice cream. Bowling was a lot of fun. Watching the kids get excited when they hits some pins down was cute. Below is a picture of Aiden. The adults were done with their game and the kids had one more frame left. So Christophe had taken off his shoes and Aiden wouldn't bowl his last frame with out Christophe's shoes one. It was fun to see him try and walk with these shoes on.

Anniversary
Today is Christophe and my anniversary. We have been married 1 year. It doesn't seem like we have been married that long, but we have. The time has just passed so quickly.
Moving
We put up our condo for rent about a month ago. We have had a few people interested, but last Friday, Christophe text me and told me that we had to move. So we have 3 guys moving into our Condo, but since we weren't sure anyone was going to rent , we weren't really looking for a place to live. Since we have to be out by the 25th, we are going to move in with my parent, while we find something bigger.
Lastly
Now last but not least. Now you might be asking why we would need anything bigger. Well, I am really getting sick on the dog being inside all of the time and that I have to worry what she is getting into. So we are looking for a place that has a fenced in back yard. That will hopefully help me not get so annoyed with her. And I am pregnant. I am due the end of February. I am 13 weeks along and have been very lucky. I get nauseous, but haven't gotten sick. So that is another reason we need a bigger space. We could probably make our condo work with a baby, but not with the dog too. And Christophe loves her too much to get rid of her. So we move in with my parents and the end of this week. Well that is all that has been going on with me.

4th of July

I went to my parent's house for the 4th. We had a bbq and just hung out. It was nice and relaxing. Here are some pictures I took while we were lighting off fireworks.

Here is the box of fireworks that Matt and Melissa brought. Law is just a little taller than the box, so it was quite funny seeing him carry it. (Sad, this is the only picture I got of Melissa.)

Here is Ben and Sage.

Matt, Maddy and Law.

Tina, Aiden, and Doug's hand (the only part of Doug in my picures, he was cleaning something off his car.) Aiden isn't really liking the noise.

Christophe and Roxy.

Mom.

Tricia, Dad and Roxy again.

Daniel

Aiden. This was his firework that he picked out.

Aiden's firework going off.

Aiden didn't really like his going off. Sad!

Ben then took us to Camp Williams by the windmills to watch the Thanksgiving Pointe fireworks. They were good. And there was no one else around. Thanks Ben!

We gave it one more try.

Meet Roxy our new puppy. We got her on Thursday afternoon and she is so cute. We were told that her mother was a pug and her father was a chihuahua/terrier mix. To me she looks like a miniature lab.

We are allergic to her, me more than Christophe. But we are going to see if I get use to it after a little bit. Roxy was 7+ weeks when we got her. We think it was a little early for her to leave her mother, but the sellers were, lets put it nicely, interesting. She does fairly well with not making too many messes for as young as she is, so that is nice. Below is a picture of her with Daniel to show how small she is.
On Thursday night we ran to Walmart to try to find her a bed, more food and a toy. The food was all to big, not much in the way of toys, but Christophe did find her a bed. However, she didn't like it. We would put her in it and she would just walk out, even if she was a sleep and we put her in there, she would immediately wake up and get out. The next day Christophe went to the pet store to buy her a crate which she utterly refuses to be in. Spoiled dog! So on Sunday we cleared out our laundry room except for the washer and dryer and blocked her in there and left for church. She was yelping as we walked out the door. We sat out in the hall to see if she would stop. After a couple of minutes, we decided that we couldn't go back in, that it would teach her that she could just whine and someone would be there to make her happy, so we left for church. We decided to check on her after sacrament meeting and she was still whining. We had no idea what we were going to do Monday when we were both at work.

Well some friends from the ward came over to meet our new dog and gave us a suggestion to put up a baby gate to give her more room. So, when Christophe left for work, since we didn't have time to go buy a gate, stacked her crate and a box full of books in the hallway. Before he even left for work she had jumped on top of the box of books and gotten free of her confinement. Christophe reworked a little and left. Roxy whined for about a minute but then stopped. Christophe was afraid that she had gotten out again so he went back in to make sure. He found her on her bed that she hated, chewing on her toy.
(this is not what he saw, but I thought it was cute)
While I was on my lunch break I was right by my place so I stopped to make sure she wasn't whining. I stood by an open window and by my door and didn't hear a thing, so I thought we were OK. But when I got home from work she was sitting on our couch. She had pushed her crate enough to get through. Smart stinker. Luckily there weren't any messes.

10 good things

So Mary tagged me to do this post, Thanks Mary.  It is 10 good things about my life.  However like Mary, I am not so good about sharing my feelings, so it won't be a very deep and emotional post. So here we go, in no particular order.

1.  Christophe.  He is the love of my life and treats me so well.  Even when stupid birth control makes me illogical and stupid, he talks to me and helps me not be so crazy.  He even has gotten my hopes up that we will get out of Utah.  He suggested that we go down to AZ, and while we are there, to look at houses to buy.  Though we don't know when this trip will happen, everyone at his work already has time off through July, but I am hoping we can squeeze it in sometime in June.

2.  The Pill,  or the not taking it part.  While I was taking "the pill" I was an emotional wreck.  Which happened very rarely while not on the pill and a lot more while on.  So I am happy to say that I am not taking it and hoping that my emotions will turn back to normal and that I will lose the weight I put on while on it as well.  Side note that I stopped taking the pill not to get pregnant, but to get rid of the stupid side effects.

3.  My Family. I love my family, they are my best friends.  I know I can go to them with anything and they will do what they can to help me.  I don't know where I would be without them.

4.  My In-laws.  I have gotten very lucky with my in-laws.  They are super nice to me and love me.  Growing up I was always scared that I would get the nasty in-laws that you never want to see or talk to. I am so grateful that I have nice down to earth ones.

5.  My Job.  Now I don't like working, but I have to be grateful that I have a job.  The way the market is now, there is a lot of people being laid off in other title companies.  My company hasn't had the layoffs that the others have though.  We have had people quit and one person get fire, but it we haven't had anyone laid off since last fall.

6.  Saturday.  I love Saturdays.  It is my one day that I don't have to be anywhere and I get to sleep in.  I love having this day to relax and sometimes go no where.

7.  Vacations.  I love being able to get up and go.  Disneyland was great and I can't wait to go again.  We are having a mini girls vacation in June and a big family vacation in July. I am so excited for these.

8.  Flying.  I love being able to fly places and not having to drive.  I love that it takes an hour and a half to fly somewhere that would take you 12 hours to drive.

9.  My car.  My car is such a great car.  In the 4 1/2 years that I have had it, I have only had to take it in to get fixed once.  It is a great little car that has great pick up, a must in a car.  And to top it off, it will be paid off in October. YEAH!!!

10.  Last but definitely not least, SUMMER.  I am so excited for it to be summer and hot.  Some of you probably  think I am crazy that I want to move to the heat of Arizona, but I do.  I am so sick of the stupid weather of Utah and the fact that it snowed on Thursday, which was May 1st.  Are you kidding me?  I love the sun and want it to come out and stay already.

Well I made it through.  So now I get to tag Tricia, Jane, and Elizabeth.
